About me

My name is Kjell; I am an illustrator/designer living in Philadelphia, PA. I am currently working as the Senior Graphic Designer at DMG Marketing. 

My illustration is influenced by eclectic pop culture references, odd cartoons, and movies. To me, the work is as much about the subject matter as it is about the experimentation. Nothing is better than mixing media to come up with a unique look.

Design requires some analog input as much as it requires a lot of anal retentiveness. Even clean design can benefit from some organic experimentation, whether it be some hand brushed letters or found texture to add that finishing touch.
